Job summary

Amphibious Medics is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner for on-site care at a construction site in Wheatfield, IN. This full-time role focuses on evaluating and treating patients with acute or chronic conditions, with collaboration to the medical director.

The APP will work independently with limited supervision, perform exams, order tests when directed, and support workers’ compensation processes and safety programs. CPR/BLS certification and NP/PA license required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in direct patient care.
• Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with acute or chronic conditions in an on-site clinic.
• Perform patient interviews, review medical history, and conduct physical exams.
• Order off-site labs/diagnostics only with medical director approval.
• Develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Instruct patients on medications, monitoring, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate with Amphibious Medics medical director and safety teams.
