Job Description

We are seeking an experienced site manager to oversee safety protocols for a 15-month construction project in Canton, Ohio.

The Site Manager will assist the construction team throughout the project, responsible for overall project execution and overseeing foundation and structural installation, including soliciting construction bids and evaluation. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the project's success.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor project plans and schedules.
2. Coordinate with the owner, EOR, and contractors for seamless project execution.
3. Ensure all necessary equipment is available on site.
4. Supervise and direct construction workers and subcontractors, assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure safety standards compliance.
5. Ensure the construction process starts and ends on time, meeting daily and weekly deadlines.
6. Oversee installation of building and equipment foundations, underground utilities, and demolition activities.
7. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and other regulations.
8. Monitor the engineering/construction schedule for successful project execution.
9. Submit weekly construction progress updates and safety incident reports.
10. Promptly resolve construction issues to minimize disruptions to the project timeline.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or a similar role within a heavy industrial facility.
• Effective communication skills with all levels of staff.
• Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Project, and construction management tools.
• Basic knowledge of Navisworks.
• Thorough understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
