Job summary

CoVolt Power in Arkansas is seeking a Light Equipment Operator to support solar and BESS infrastructure projects. You will operate skid steers, mini-excavators, and forklifts, perform routine maintenance, load/unload materials, and collaborate with site supervisors to keep projects on schedule.

The role requires safety-minded individuals who can work outdoors in varied weather, lift heavy objects, and communicate effectively with team members. Health, dental, vision insurance and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy objects.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to protocols.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate light construction equipment such as skid steers, mini-excavators, and forklifts safely.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials at job sites.
• Coordinate with site supervisors to keep projects on schedule.
• Follow safety guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
• Report equipment issues to supervisors promptly.
• Assist with manual labor when equipment is not in use.
• Keep work area clean and organized, including storage of tools.
