Job summary

Wanzek Construction, Inc. is seeking a construction laborer to assist skilled trades on jobsites in Texas. You will keep the site clean, help craft workers, and support concrete, finishing, and equipment tasks at Marquez, TX.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 6–12 months of construction experience.
• Or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and measurements for tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with other craft workers and maintain a safe, clean site.
• Signal equipment operators to load, move and position machinery.
• Level earth to grade specifications with hand tools.
• Mix and finish concrete with portable mixer and hand tools.
• Perform site maintenance and provide on-site assistance as needed.
