Job summary

Grace Pacific LLC in Hawaii is seeking general laborers to read plans, install products per specifications, and drive trucks or operate equipment. You will load and unload tools and materials, and help maintain safety and order on busy worksites.

Candidates must have a CDL Class B (or obtain within 90 days), a valid driver's license, and a favorable driving history. Flex hours and occasional neighbor island work are possible in this busy union environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CDL Class B or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Favorable driver history.
• Mechanical ability.
• One year of road construction experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Basic math and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand job specifications and written instructions.
• Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime and possible occasional work on the neighbor islands.

Responsibilities

• Reads plans and installs products in accordance with project specifications.
• Drives and operates trucks and equipment as required.
• Removes and installs striping, pavement markings, fencing, guardrail, posts, and signs.
• Loads and unloads tools, equipment and materials from equipment and storage areas.
• Assists in maintaining and securing jobsites, facility, and equipment.
• Always adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
• Coordinate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion.
