Job summary

Bauer Infrastructure is seeking a hardworking General Laborer to support daily field operations across our construction projects in Martell, NE, 15 miles southwest of Lincoln. The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to handle physical, fast-paced tasks safely and efficiently.

A successful General Laborer helps keep job sites clean, organized, and productive while working closely with the crew to ensure quality and safety on every project.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
• Follow safety rules and use PPE to protect yourself and others.
• Communicate clearly with crew members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Keeps the job site clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Help with tasks like pumping water, light demo work, and dust control.
• Load, unload and transport materials as necessary.
• Track small tools during the day and put them away properly at the end of the shift.
• Inspect tools to make sure they are safe to use and tag and turn in any damaged equipment.
• Clean and prep construction sites to eliminate possible hazards and safety risks.
• Clean, fuel, and lubricate tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Install temporary barriers, safety rails, and cables as needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance and be present at the assigned work site.
• Follow all company safety rules and use proper PPE.
