Responsibilities

As a Construction Senior Project Manager, you will ensure projects and business goals stay on track. Your tasks include:

1. Preparing preliminary and final estimates for projects
2. Developing and adhering to budgets, timelines, and quality plans
3. Collaborating with developers, engineers, and architects
4. Negotiating contracts with vendors
5. Obtaining permits and licenses
6. Determining resource needs and managing budgets
7. Planning construction operations and schedules
8. Coordinating equipment and material deliveries
9. Hiring contractors and staff
10. Conducting site visits and inspections
11. Evaluating progress and preparing reports
12. Ensuring safety standards and code compliance
13. Using scheduling software to track progress
14. Managing RFIs and updates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field
• High school diploma or GED with 5-10 years of experience
• 5+ years in project/construction management, especially in multifamily residential construction
• Knowledge of building codes and ADA laws
• Experience with site construction, precast, wood framing, interiors
• Understanding of multifamily construction methods
• Experience with cost estimating, budgeting, and negotiations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Project, and familiarity with ProCore is helpful
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to work flexibly and perform physical inspections
