Job summary

Leoforce in Villa Park, CA seeks a Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting tasks, including inventory, GL, and reconciliations. You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and participate in budgeting and forecasting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with Excel and accounting software. Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills are required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with focus on inventory management, GL, reconciliations, and cost accounting.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax laws, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High integrity and dependability with urgency and results-orientation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting tasks including inventory management, GL, bank reconciliations, and cost accounting.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyze financial data and present reports in a timely manner.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting and tax laws and GAAP.
• Implement and monitor internal controls and procedures.
• Assist with annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Serve as a key contact for other departments on financial matters.
• Support CFO and finance with various projects.
