Scott Humphrey is seeking a Construction Scheduler to develop and maintain project timelines, coordinating labor, materials, and equipment to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

The role requires creating detailed schedules with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, monitoring progress, and communicating updates to stakeholders. Relocation to West Palm Beach, FL is required.

Strong organizational and communication skills and proficiency with construction software are essential.

• Proven record of success on large and/or complex projects.
• P6 experience is a must.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule Development & Maintenance: Create and update detailed project schedules with task durations, sequencing, and dependencies.
• Progress Monitoring: Track construction progress against schedule using field data and reports.
• Resource Management: Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to avoid bottlenecks.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies with the project team.
• Communication & Reporting: Regularly update stakeholders on schedule status and issues.
• Change Order Management: Assess impact of scope changes and update schedules accordingly.

A Construction Scheduler develops and maintains project timelines, coordinating labor, materials, and equipment to ensure timely and within-budget completion. Key duties include creating schedules using software like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, monitoring progress, identifying potential delays using methods like the Critical Path Method (CPM), and communicating updates to stakeholders. Essential skills are strong organizational and communication skills, software proficiency, and an understanding of construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Development & Maintenance:
• Create and update detailed project schedules using specialized software, defining task durations, sequencing, and dependencies.
• Progress Monitoring:
• Track construction progress against the established schedule, using field data and reports to identify any deviations or potential delays.
• Resource Management:
• Coordinate the allocation of labor, materials, and equipment to ensure they are available when needed and prevent bottlenecks.
• Proactively identify risks and potential issues, such as resource shortages or late deliveries, and work with the project team to develop mitigation strategies.
• Communication & Reporting:
• Regularly communicate schedule updates and potential issues to the project team, management, and other stakeholders.
• Change Order Management:
• Evaluate the impact of any changes to the project scope and update the schedule accordingly.

Requirements

• Proven record of success on large and/or complex projects
• Proficient with relevant construction technology; P6 experience a must!!

Salary

$110,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
