Job summary

IAPMO is seeking a seasoned schedule manager to provide essential support on live construction projects. You will use MS Project or Primavera P6 to develop and maintain schedules, coordinating with designers, contractors, and clients to keep work on track.

The role involves delay analysis, recovery planning, and regular meetings to review progress. Salary ranges from $95,000 to $130,000 per year, with equal opportunity employment.

• Communicate with vendors on lead times and delivery dates.
• Introduce improvements and innovations where appropriate.
• Liaise with design or project management colleagues to align solutions with project interests.
• Ensure planned construction methods can be safely constructed.
• Communicate with clients to ensure clear understanding of planned work.

Job Summary

Provide schedule management and support, on live construction projects while also using pre-construction design information and documents to develop tender schedules for upcoming projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed support and assistance to the construction team, including interacting with contractors to determine actual progress and proposed construction plans and methodology.
• Prepare delay analysis reports internally and to external clients when required.
• Manage the schedule using either Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 (preferred).
• Organize and attend meetings with designers and other key suppliers to review progress of scheduled works. Looking ahead to ensure designs / technical issues / engineering problems are identified early to prevent negative impact on the schedule.
• Propose schedule recovery strategies and delay mitigation measures.
• Produce schedules, reports, extracts, filtered schedules, short term schedules.
• Communicate with vendors to determine up to lead in periods and delivery dates.
• Introduce improvements and innovations where appropriate.
• Liaise with design or project management colleagues to ensure the solutions being developed are in the best interests of the project.
• Ensure planned construction methodology and design solutions can be constructed safely.
• Communicate and engage with clients to ensure clear communication of planned work.

Salary Range: $95,000/year to $130,000/year; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
