Position: Professional Sports Scaffolding Laborer
Here is what you can expect:
- Daily Routine: Building scaffolds at venues like stadiums, racetracks, tennis courts, golf courses, hockey rinks, and more. You might see your work on TV during events.
- Crews: Small crews of up to 5 employees, traveling together from job to job.
- Work Schedule: Full-time, consistent, year-round work with no uncertainty about assignments.
- Work Environment: Mostly outdoors, in the sun and fresh air.
- Travel: Overnight travel routine, potentially away for 90+ days. InProduction provides travel accommodations and hotel lodging, usually with two crew members per room, with small kitchens in rooms for meal prep.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and dismantle scaffolds, install ladders, walkways, and handrails.
- Assist with the safe installation and removal of equipment per plans and layouts.
- Inspect scaffold components before assembly.
- Prepare sites by cleaning and removing debris.
- Load and unload equipment and materials.
- Study plans and equipment lists prior to installation.
- Follow safety protocols, including the use of safety equipment.
- Maintain fall protection standards during scaffold erection and dismantling.
- Keep tools and equipment clean and maintained.
- Ensure client satisfaction with quality and timeliness of work.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Background check and drug screening required.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools (drills, saws, hammers, etc.).
- Comfort with heights.
- Creative problem-solving skills and multitasking ability.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Read and understand safety instructions.
- Background in scaffolding, carpentry, construction, laboring, or events preferred.
- Ability to work overtime.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
