As a Professional Sports Scaffolding Laborer at InProduction, here is what you can expect:

  • Daily Routine: Building scaffolds at venues like football and soccer stadiums, baseball fields, tennis courts, golf courses, hockey rinks, and racetracks. You might see our work on TV during games or events.
  • Crews: Assigned to small crews of no more than 5 employees, traveling together from job to job.
  • Work Schedule: Full-time, consistent, and year-round work without uncertainty about next assignments.
  • Work Environment: Mostly outdoors, in the sun and fresh air while building.
  • Travel: Overnight travel is routine; you may be away from home for 90+ days at a time.
  • Travel and Lodging: InProduction arranges and provides accommodations, typically two crew members per room, with small kitchens in hotel rooms for meal preparation.
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid vacations and holidays; weekly overtime opportunities.
  • Growth Opportunities: Develop construction skills with potential advancement to Crew Lead, Foreman, Project Manager, or other roles.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and dismantle scaffolds, install ladders, walkways, and handrails.
  • Assist in the safe and efficient installation/removal of equipment following project plans.
  • Inspect all scaffold components before assembly.
  • Clean and prepare construction sites, removing debris and materials.
  • Load and unload equipment and materials from trucks and vehicles.
  • Study plans and equipment lists prior to installation.
  • Follow safety measures, including the use of safety equipment and fall protection.
  • Maintain tools and equipment properly after shifts.
  • Ensure client satisfaction regarding service quality and project completion within schedules.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Background check and drug screening required.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools, drills, saws, hammers, etc.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams to meet goals.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to read and understand basic safety instructions.
  • Experience in scaffolding, carpentry, construction, laboring, or events preferred.
  • Capable of working overtime.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
