As a Professional Sports Scaffolding Laborer at InProduction, here is what you can expect:
  1. Daily Routine: Scaffolding structures at professional venues like football and soccer stadiums, baseball fields, tennis courts, golf courses, hockey rinks, and racetracks. You may see our work on TV during events.
  2. Crews: Assigned crews will be no more than 5 employees, traveling together from job to job.
  3. Work Schedule: Full-time, consistent, year-round work with predictable assignments.
  4. Work Environment: Mostly outdoors, in the sun and fresh air while building.
  5. Travel: Overnight travel routine, potentially away from home for 90+ days. InProduction arranges travel and hotel lodging, with two crew members per room, usually with small kitchens.

  7. Growth Opportunities: Develop construction skills with potential advancement to Crew Lead, Foreman, Project Manager, or other roles.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Build and dismantle scaffolds, install ladders, walkways, and handrails.
  • Assist in the safe and efficient installation/removal of equipment per plans and layouts.
  • Inspect scaffold components before assembly.
  • Clean and prepare construction sites, removing debris and materials.
  • Load and unload equipment and materials.
  • Study plans and equipment lists prior to installation.
  • Follow safety measures, including wearing safety equipment.
  • Maintain fall protection during scaffold erection and dismantling.
  • Keep tools and equipment clean and maintained after shifts.
  • Ensure client satisfaction regarding service quality and timely completion.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Background check and drug screening required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools, drills, saws, hammers, etc.
  • Comfort with heights.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to read and understand safety instructions.
  • Background in scaffolding, carpentry, construction, laboring, or events preferred.
  • Willingness to work overtime.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
