HazTek Inc. is seeking a Safety Specialist for our La Grange, GA projects to drive safety culture and regulatory compliance. You will oversee OSHA compliance on commercial construction sites, lead daily safety meetings, and investigate incidents.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in construction safety, OSHA-30, First Aid/CPR, and strong communication. Travel may be minimal; HazTek emphasizes integrity, accountability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 hour in Construction certification required.
• First Aid/CPR certified.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards.
• Experience in Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction projects ensuring OSHA compliance
• Conduct daily safety meetings
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
• Ensure all personnel wear their personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Daily safety audits and inspections
• Inspect power tools and heavy equipment
