Job summary

HazTek Safety Management is seeking a Safety Specialist for a local role in La Grange, GA, to support commercial construction projects and foster a culture of safety.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of construction safety experience, OSHA 30 Construction certification, First Aid/CPR, and hands-on knowledge of Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation. Expect daily safety meetings, incident reporting, PPE enforcement, and tool inspections.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 hour Construction certification.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Experience with Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance.
• Conduct daily safety meetings.
• Complete accident reports and investigations.
• Ensure all personnel wear PPE.
• Perform daily safety audits and inspections.
• Inspect power tools and heavy equipment.
