Job summary

Halo Technical Solutions Global is seeking a Safety Specialist to enforce safety standards on active construction sites in the Clarksville area. This role focuses on inspections, training, incident prevention, and coordination with project leadership to keep workers safe and projects on schedule.

The ideal candidate has 1–3+ years of experience, OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR/AED, NFPA 70E, LOTO, and strong communication skills to lead toolbox talks and on-site safety efforts.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of construction safety experience.
• Knowledge of federal/state/local safety regulations.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications current.
• NFPA 70E Electrical Safety certification current.
• LOTO training and trench awareness.
• Strong communication, training, and field decision-making skills.
• Ability to enforce safety standards and identify hazards in real time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections, audits, and field observations.
• Identify, document, communicate, and help correct potential safety hazards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, project requirements, and company safety policies.
• Lead safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
• Provide training on Lockout/Tagout, trench safety, and electrical hazards.
• Assist with incident and near-miss investigations.
• Prepare investigation reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Work with site leadership to resolve safety concerns and integrate safety into project operations.
