Requirements:
  1. Knowledge of OSHA 1926 and 1910 (all sub parts) required.
  2. Ideal candidate should hold certificates and be able to conduct forklift safety training, aerial lift, and boom safety training.
  3. OSHA certified trainer and possessing a NYS CR-59 certification is a plus, however, may achieve certification during employment.
  4. Self-motivated and proactive in identifying problems and developing recommended solutions.
  5. High degree of business acumen and ability to clearly communicate with all levels of management in a dynamic work environment.
  6. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
  7. Ability to travel 50-75% within New York State.
Job Description:
  1. Position requires traveling to clients and conducting safety inspections of worksites and facilities.
  2. Candidate should be able to identify workplace hazards and submit recommendations for compliance.
  3. Candidate is also expected to write safety programs and assist in implementation.
  4. Hold safety classes with client employees when indicated.
  5. Create safety manuals, including site-specific manuals when required.
  6. Discuss safety protocol with GC’s when required.
  7. Interact with governmental agencies when mitigation is required.
