Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of relevant construction safety experience.

• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, hazard recognition, inspections, and corrective-action processes.
• Strong communication, documentation, and field leadership skills.
• Must be within a commutable distance to Jersey City, NJ.
• Must possess a recognized professional safety qualification or certification, such as CSP, NEBOSH Level 6, NVQ Level 4 or higher, MIOSH, or equivalent.

You will be responsible for establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace. As a safety manager, you must have excellent attention to detail to identify hazards. The ability to communicate guidelines to a multidisciplinary workforce is essential.
