Job summary

Ben Hur Construction Company seeks a Safety Manager to partner with operations and strengthen safe execution across projects in the Central Division. This role provides subject matter expertise, coordinates safety efforts, and drives continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates bring 5–8+ years of construction safety experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Safety or related field, OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR/AED, and strong leadership with the ability to influence field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Construction or related field preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification required; First Aid/CPR/AED required.
• OSHA 500, EM385, ASP or CSP a plus.
• 5–8+ years construction safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership and guidance to project teams and field supervision.
• Partner with operations to support safe project execution and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop Safety Coordinators and field safety staff.
• Advise leadership on safety risks and preventative actions.
• Implement safety programs, policies, and procedures across projects.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
• Lead safety reviews, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate safety training, toolbox talks, and site visits.
