Job summary

C.A. Murren and Sons is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee safety processes across construction projects. You will coordinate training, enforce safety standards, and drive a strong safety culture with leadership support.

The role requires extensive field experience, OSHA certifications, and the ability to travel up to 4–5 days per week. You will work with Foremen, Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Project Managers to ensure injury-free project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required or preferred.
• CHST (Construction Health & Safety Technician) certification preferred.
• 10–15 years in construction safety (industrial or civil preferred).
• OSHA 500, 510 required; First Aid/CPR/AED instructor or able to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Conduct project site inspections and safety assessments; intervene to resolve issues and implement modifications.
• Provide safety training and education to personnel on safety requirements.
• Coordinate project safety programs and plan work to minimize risks and manage losses.
• Participate in inspections, incidents, and near-miss investigations; conduct root-cause analyses.
