Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Construction Safety Manager for a high-visibility project in West Lafayette, IN. The role requires leading all safety aspects, communicating with owners and stakeholders, and delivering strong safety leadership on site.

You will coordinate with site teams, ensure compliance with safety standards, and drive continuous improvement in safety performance for the project.

Qualifications

• Certifications such as CSP/CIH/ASP/ARM/CHST/OHST with at least 3 years of construction safety experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or related field with at least 3 years of construction safety experience.
• At least 5+ years of relevant construction safety experience.
• Current OSHA 500 certification for construction or OSHA 30-hour Construction Outreach Training within past 5 years.
• Proof of CPR/First Aid/AED and BBP training completion (Red Cross or approved equivalent).

About the position

This Construction Safety Manager (CSM) position in West Lafayette, IN requires a highly experienced and capable individual who can effectively lead and manage all aspects of project safety while also serving as a professional representative of our team. The successful candidate must be comfortable interacting with the owner and project stakeholders at multiple levels, demonstrating strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.

Given the visibility and importance of this project, we are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of safety leadership, excellent presentation capabilities, and the ability to influence positive safety outcomes across the project team.

Position Requirements

At a minimum, qualifications for Contractor Safety Representatives are as follows:

• Hold a a safety and health certification/designation such as but not limited CSP, CIH, ASP, ARM, CHST, OHST with at least 3 years of relevant construction safety and health experience (Option 1); OR
• Have a Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or related field with at least 3 years of relevant construction safety and health experience (Option 2); OR
• Have at least 5+ years of relevant construction safety and health experience (Option 3); AND
• Have a current OSHA 500 certification for construction or OSHA 30-hour Construction Outreach Training Course completed in the past 5 years; AND
• Provide proof completion of a Red Cross or approved equivalent for Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, Automated External Defibrillation (AED), and blood-borne pathogens (BBP) training course
