Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe work atmosphere by building relationships with coworkers, management, clients, and subcontractors.
• Identify and evaluate potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Enforces safety program to ensure an accident-free work environment.
• Conducts safety training, orientation, and drug screens for new hires and incidents.
• Tracks and records all health and safety incidents.
• Communicates safety tips and best practices to employees and leaders.
• Participates in safety committee meetings and coordinates agendas and resources.
• Documents hazards found during site inspections and ensures timely resolution.
• Conducts jobsite rounds to reinforce the safety culture.
• Establishes site-specific safety plans and Safe Start meetings for all personnel.
• Advises Project Managers on site hazards and safe equipment operation.
• Investigates incidents and coordinates post-incident actions with involved parties.
• Reports safety data to executives and leadership.
• Maintains safety handbook, policies, and procedures.
• Conducts quarterly safety trainings and reporting at Superintendent meetings.
• Ensures harassment-free workplace.
