HazTek is seeking an experienced Safety Specialist in San Luis, AZ to support our commercial construction projects. Join a company dedicated to safety excellence and helping workers go home safe.

The role focuses on OSHA compliance, daily safety meetings, accident investigations, PPE enforcement, and tool and equipment inspections. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction safety and OSHA 30, with strong communication and a commitment to HazTek's core values.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience required.
• OSHA 30 hour in Construction certification required.
• BCSP certification preferred.
• First Aid/CPR certified.
• Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection and Excavation experience.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance.
• Conduct daily safety meetings.
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations.
• Ensure all personnel wear their PPE.
• Daily safety audits and inspections.
• Inspect power tools and heavy equipment.
