Job summary

EnSafe is seeking a Construction Safety Oversight Professional to support a client site for a minimum of 1 year with potential extension. The role focuses on safety excellence, compliance with OSHA and local regulations, and partnership with project managers and contractors to maintain safe work environments.

The candidate will review safety plans, lead incident investigations, provide training, and ensure proper documentation across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or commensurate experience.
• Minimum 5 years of construction safety on large projects.
• Proven knowledge of OSHA construction standards and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily safety oversight on large-scale construction sites with audits and hazard assessments.
• Monitor contractor compliance with safety plans and OSHA regulations.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Review JHAs, Site Safety Plans, Lift Plans, and other safety documents.
• Deliver safety training and toolbox talks; mentor field teams.
• Collaborate with project leadership to integrate safety into planning and scheduling.
• Identify risks in pre-construction and design phases and suggest mitigations.
• Maintain safety records and regulatory documentation.
• Serve as SME on OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and industry best practices.
• Escalate safety concerns to project/client leadership promptly.
