Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Construction Safety Specialist to lead safety for NY/NJ area construction projects. You will review plans, audit operations, and ensure contractor adherence to OSHA 1926 and local codes while interfacing with Port Authority and stakeholders.

The role requires at least 5 years of construction safety experience, NYC DOB SST, OSHA 30, and a valid driver's license. OCIP/CCIP project experience is preferred and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience.
• Valid NYC DOB Site Safety Supervisor Card (SST).
• OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts, drawings and project docs for safety compliance.
• Audit work operations to ensure adherence to safety programs and regulations.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses; perform root cause analysis.
