Job summary

Southland Industries, Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support the Division Safety Program and ensure compliance with safety regulations across job sites. You will partner with field teams and leadership to promote a proactive safety culture and coordinate safety activities.

The role requires a minimum of 2+ years in construction safety, a Bachelor’s degree in Safety or related field, and certifications such as CHST/ASP preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years as safety professional in construction, with training experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management systems.
• Ability to train and mentor field teams and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety inspections of job sites and prepare detailed reports.
• Promote proactive safety culture and coordinate safety activities across sites.
• Assist with incident investigations and regulatory reporting as needed.
• Develop training materials and coordinate employee training.
