The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, contractors, and client stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with safety requirements, and support safe execution of all construction activities. A collaborative approach to hazard identification and risk mitigation is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, EH&S, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of construction safety experience on commercial/industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and risk management practices.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and investigations.
• Ability to facilitate safety meetings and trainings.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification.
• CHST, ASP, CSP, or similar certifications preferred.

• Support emergency preparedness, safety training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and project compliance records.

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a proactive Construction Safety Facilitator to support health, safety, and environmental programs on complex construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, contractors, and client stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture, facilitate compliance with project safety requirements, and support the safe execution of all construction activities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong field safety experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage project teams in creating and maintaining safe work environments. This role requires a collaborative approach to hazard identification, risk mitigation, safety training, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Ability to facilitate safety meetings, training sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Experience working collaboratively with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety reporting systems.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required.
• CHST, ASP, CSP, or similar professional safety certifications preferred.
