Job summary

Catapult Solutions Group is seeking a Site Safety Manager for concrete construction projects. The role drives a proactive safety culture, ensuring OSHA compliance and adherence to site safety plans.

You will work with Project Leads and Crew Leads to identify hazards, enforce standards, and support incident-free execution. The ideal candidate has strong communication and coaching skills, a minimum of 2 years in construction safety (concrete/civil preferred), and deep knowledge of OSHA

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of construction safety experience (concrete/civil preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills with ability to influence field crews and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Identify project-specific hazards during pre-planning and build mitigation strategies into phase plans.
• Coordinate safety requirements with GC/customer site rules, including controlled-access sites.
• Conduct daily site walks with Project Leads and Field Leads to identify and correct hazards.
• Verify PPE compliance, fall protection, equipment inspections, and housekeeping standards.
• Participate in Daily Planning and Preparation (DPP) discussions to integrate safety into daily plans.

Job Description

The Site Safety role drives a proactive safety culture across concrete construction projects, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety programs, and site-specific safety plans. This person works closely with Project Leads, Field Leads, and Crew Task Leads to identify hazards, enforce safety standards, and support incident-free execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site walks, delivering training, leading incident investigations, and mentoring field personnel on safe work practices. This role is well-suited to someone who is detail-oriented, an effective communicator, and passionate about protecting the workforce.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify project-specific hazards during pre-planning and build mitigation strategies into phase plans.


• Coordinate safety requirements with GC/customer site rules, including controlled-access sites.


• Conduct daily site walks with Project Leads and Field Leads to identify and correct hazards.

Required Experience/Skills

• Minimum 2 years of construction safety experience; concrete/civil experience preferred.


• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices.

Nice-to-Haves

• Data center construction experience, including familiarity with critical facility protocols and security/access requirements.


• CPR/First Aid certification.


• Additional certifications such as CHST or STSC.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant safety certifications required as noted above.
