Job summary

XL Construction is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to oversee risk management programs across XL Construction and affiliated entities. You will collaborate with operations staff, project teams and leadership to identify, assess, and mitigate corporate and project risks, while ensuring strategic risk alignment.

Responsibilities include leading risk workshops, maintaining risk registers, and guiding contract reviews with counsel and insurers.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree; +/- 5-10 years industry experience.
• Experience with reviewing construction contracts and risk management.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Overall: work with the VP/Director of Risk Management to identify, assess, manage, and mitigate corporate and project risks.
• Operational Risk Mitigation: partner with Project Executives, Project Managers, and General Superintendents to mitigate project operations risks.
• Lead risk management processes including risk registers, workshops, and training.
• Provide risk services for XL Construction and affiliated entities; contract reviews with counsel and insurers.
• Develop and manage risk programs, monitor claims histories, and support governance.
