Job summary

Areas USA is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support planning, permitting, and execution of renovations and new builds across concession locations. You will work with the Director of Construction, contractors, landlords, and authorities to keep projects on schedule and on budget, ensuring openings meet brand standards.

This role requires travel to sites, reading blueprints, coordinating permits, tracking budgets, and maintaining project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 2–4 years of construction project coordination experience.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and plans.
• Knowledge of building codes and permitting processes.
• Strong organizational and multi-project management skills.
• Proficiency with project management and budgeting software; MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee construction, renovation, and buildout projects.
• Track schedules, milestones, budgets, and flag delays.
• Maintain permits, bids, change orders, lien waivers, and insurance certificates.
• Coordinate permits with municipalities and airport/landlord authorities.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality.
• Prepare capital expenditure budgets and cost forecasts.
• Coordinate procurement and delivery of equipment, fixtures, signage.
• Support punch lists, inspections, and turnover to Operations.
• Update project files and communicate status to stakeholders.
