Job summary

Pawnee Tribal Development Corporation is seeking a full-time Construction Manager to oversee all phases of our projects in OKC. You will manage sites, resources, subcontractors, and schedules from permit to finish, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred), 5+ years of field experience, and a valid driver’s license. Proficiency in MS Office and strong written and verbal communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum five years of construction or related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications; strong written and verbal communication.
• OSHA knowledge and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Hire subcontractors and assign work.
• Create cost estimates and manage the project budget.
• Collaborate with subcontractors to determine budget and timeline.
• Purchase materials and equipment.
• Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors.
• Maintain construction schedules and tracking system for all phases.
• Regularly report status of projects in person or in writing.
• Make changes to operations to meet deadlines.
• Implement cost-effective and efficient management techniques.
• Schedule and oversee all phases from permit to finish.
• Coordinate permitting and inspections.
• Enforce OSHA guidelines and promote safety.
• Resolve construction site problems.
