Job summary

JE Dunn Construction's Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Quality professional to support project teams on industrial and manufacturing sites in the Minot area. You will help implement safety and quality plans, document QA processes, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials meet specifications.

Candidates typically have a Bachelor's in architecture/construction management or related field, 0-2 years construction experience, and ability to read plans, communicate clearly, and perform site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management or related field (Required).
• 0-2 years construction experience or summer internship/co-op experience in construction (Preferred).
• Ability to read and understand plans, drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Learns and actively participates in all aspects of safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participates in project specific quality plans and project quality status reports.
• Ensures comprehensive documentation of QA processes, test results and corrective actions.
• Collaborates with suppliers to establish and maintain quality standards for incoming materials.
• Gains knowledge of design documents to identify potential quality problems and develop constructability review reports.
• Develops project site observations to ensure specs are met and work is completed with quality and timeliness.
• Ensures compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
• May provide coordination and oversight to the project specific quality plan.
• Attends pre-planning, pre-installation and progress meetings.
• Performs walk-through observations for compliance with contract documents and standards.
• Investigates non-compliant conditions and provides root-cause recommendations.
• Prepares reports detailing compliant and non-compliant quality conditions.
