Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Quality Engineer to support Louisiana Bridge Builders in Lake Charles, LA. You will coordinate, document, and report quality activities across construction, ensuring inspections and ITPs conform to specs.

The role includes field inspections, subcontractor oversight, and reporting on quality performance. Requirements include a related bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of quality experience (or equivalent with 7+ years), ISO 9001 knowledge, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3+ years of related quality experience, or an equivalent with 7+ years of related quality experience.
• Experience with Design-Build projects and/or the construction industry is preferred.
• Must possess a current and valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge and experience in implementing ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Experience with quality management and quality control digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all inspection and testing documentation is completed and filed.
• Monitor and maintain Inspection and Test Plans for construction activities.
• Verify hold points, witness points, and acceptance criteria per specifications.
• Perform routine field inspections to verify compliance with drawings and work plans.
• Assist in ensuring quality requirements are implemented by subcontractors.
• Compile reports detailing quality performance and corrective actions.
