Job summary

MBC Talent Connections is seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager for the Kings Bay, GA area. This on-site role focuses on planning, coordinating, and implementing project-specific quality control programs on federal construction projects.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, 5–10 years in PM/CM roles, at least 2 years as QC Manager, and current USACE CQM for Contractors certification along with Level 1 EM 385-1-1, CRP, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Building Construction, or Building Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years in roles like Project Manager, Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager.
• Minimum 2 years of continuous QC Manager experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement a project-specific quality control program.
• Execute QC performance in accordance with contract requirements.
• Complete administrative documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.

$ 115,000 - $ 145,000 annually, based on experience

Overview

Quality Control Managers plan, coordinate, and implement project-specific quality control programs on federal construction projects. This is a fully on-site position. Local candidates are preferred; relocation or extended on-site travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement a project-specific quality control program
• Execute QC performance in accordance with contract requirements
• Complete administrative documentation accurately and on time
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Building Construction, or Building Science — or equivalent combination of education and field experience
• 5–10 years of experience as a Project Manager, Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager
• Minimum 2 years of continuous QC Manager experience required
• Current USACE CQM for Contractors Certificate (or equivalent)
• Level 1 EM 385-1-1, CRP, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour certifications (training available if needed)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and standard internet tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialty inspection training, licenses, or certifications
• LEED AP, AP+, or Green Associate certification
• Experience with Viewpoint/Vista construction software
