Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Construction Quality Control Manager to lead quality control and safety across commercial projects in our Richmond, VA area. You will develop and manage QC programs, coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, and subcontractors, and ensure adherence to contract documents and industry standards.

Ideal candidates bring 5-7 years in commercial general contracting, strong knowledge of construction means/methods, and proficiency in BlueBeam, LEED, and Procore.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve all submittals and ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Utilize BlueBeam, LEED, Procore and other project management software to maintain schedule and monitor progress.
• Evaluate construction means and methods to meet project specs and quality standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and team members to resolve quality-related issues.
• Prepare and present quality control reports and performance metrics to management.
• Promote a culture of safety and quality on site and within the team.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in BlueBeam, LEED, Procore, and other project management software.
• Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Certification in LEED, OSHA, or other relevant areas is a plus.
