Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager I to support owner- or EPC-side quality programs on capital projects. You will supervise surveillance of contractor and supplier activities, review QC documentation, track audit findings, and report quality status weekly to the project quality lead.

The role suits an inspector or QC engineer who wants to influence project quality from the requirements writers' side, with field and documentation duties and travel to active sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and identifying gaps.
• Clear written reporting.
• Organized under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
