Garud Technology Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Construction Quality Assurance Analyst (Border Barrier) to provide on-site QA support for a U.S. government border barrier project.

The role involves monitoring field activities, ensuring compliance with plans and safety standards, and preparing documentation for pay estimates and reports. Qualifications include 3–10 years in construction oversight, a bachelor’s degree (or substitutions), and proficiency with Procore, Autodesk, and SharePoint.

Qualifications

  • 3–10 years of relevant construction experience and a bachelor’s degree.
  • Education substitutions: 6 years of work experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree; or an associate’s degree plus 4 years of work experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 3 years of construction oversight experience, including surveillance, monitoring, and controlling construction of all types (horizontal construction preferred), to ensure compliance with contract documents and proper construction materials and techniques.
  • Experience reviewing construction technical data for progress reports, preparing data for processing pay estimates, and enforcing construction industry and safety standards.
  • Experience managing multiple projects with independent schedules and budgets simultaneously.
  • One or more of the following certifications highly preferred: OSHA 30 Construction; MEWP; Construction Quality Management (CQM); EM 385-1-1QA-QC.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Autodesk).
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders and effectively solve problems; strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to function as a true team player and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to travel between job sites within the Del Rio and Laredo Sectors, as requested.

Responsibilities

Construction Quality Assurance Analyst (Border Barrier)

Garud Technology Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Construction Quality Assurance Analyst (Border Barrier) to provide on-site quality assurance support to a federal Program Management Office overseeing border barrier construction.

In this role, you will:

  • Maintain day-to-day surveillance over the full range of field engineering activities for major construction projects, with a preference for horizontal construction.
  • Monitor and control construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, contract documents, and applicable construction and safety standards.
  • Review contractor schedules for logic and adequacy, assess progress measurement data, and support preparation of pay estimates and related technical construction documentation.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 3 to 10 years of relevant construction experience and a bachelor’s degree.
