Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an entry-level QA professional to join the Advanced Facilities Group in Iowa City. You will support safety and quality plans, assist in QA documentation, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure material quality on large data center, industrial, and manufacturing projects.

The role emphasizes plan reading, adherence to schedules, and collaboration with project teams. A BA/BS in architecture or construction management is preferred, with 0–2 years of construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management or related field required.
• 0–2 years construction experience preferred (internships ok).
• Ability to read plans, drawings and specifications; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supports safety and quality plans and culture on site.
• Participates in project quality plans and status reports.
• Maintains documentation of QA processes and test results.
• Coordinates with suppliers to maintain quality standards for materials.
• Assists in constructability reviews under supervision.
• Attends pre-planning, pre-installation and progress meetings.
• Conducts site walk-throughs to ensure contract compliance.
