Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a QA Tester to establish procedures and quality standards, performing production line inspections to verify construction requirements and QA adherence. The role interfaces with production management and a third-party monitoring agency to ensure non-conformances are addressed and compliance is maintained.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with 2 years QA inspection experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years quality inspection experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between production management and third-party monitoring agency.
• Monitor production line for non-conformances and QA testing procedures.
• Verify compliance with HUD standards and applicable state/national codes.
• Maintain QA checklists and travelers, update master documents as needed.
• Order HUD data plate templates and related labels/manuals.
• Provide training for certification of production team members.
• Travel none; work with production managers and team leads to correct nonconformances.
