Job summary

Lunda Construction, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Purchaser to join our team in Wisconsin. You will source and procure materials for heavy civil projects, coordinating with project managers, vendors, and field teams to ensure on-time deliveries and budget alignment.

The role requires a degree in business or related field and at least 3 years in purchasing or procurement, with strong negotiation, ERP and Excel skills, and the ability to read construction drawings and schedules.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience in heavy civil construction preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and project schedules.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract terms, and purchasing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure construction materials and services for heavy civil projects.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor quotes; negotiate and issue purchase orders.
• Coordinate with project teams to review material requirements and schedules; expedite purchases.
• Track material costs, delivery schedules, and procurement activities to support budgets.
• Maintain procurement records and assist with supplier evaluation and cost-saving opportunities.
