Job summary

Greene County Board of Commissioners seeks a GIS analyst to support project drawings, data management, and public information efforts. Under direct supervision, duties include reviewing construction drawings, calculating quantities, and updating GIS/ArcMap maps for Greene County water and sewer projects.

Associate’s degree in science/engineering/geography and 2 years of related experience required; GIS certificate or 1 year GIS experience preferred; must have valid Ohio driver’s license and CAD

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Science/Engineering/Geography at minimum.
• GIS certificate or 1 year of demonstrated GIS experience.
• CAD experience and familiarity with map production.

Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings and calculate quantities.
• Prepare reports and graphical visuals for presentations and hearings.
• Update and maintain GIS/ARC MAP maps for county projects.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and multiple jurisdictions.
