Job summary

FINFROCK is seeking a Senior Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations in Central Florida, overseeing field labor and subcontractors on large-scale commercial projects. The role requires strong leadership, drawings/blueprints literacy, and a solid safety track record.

You will coordinate with Project Manager on site logistics and ensure projects stay on schedule within budget. We value 5+ years of relevant experience, OSHA and CPR certifications, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections and coordinate site testing.
• Monitor costs including labor time and materials.
• Enforce Safety and Health program with in-house team.
• Manage schedules and prepare short-term schedules.
• Prepare and submit Superintendent reports.

Description

FINFROCK is a full-service design-builder specializing in multifamily, parking garages, student housing, and hotels, and has been named one of Orlando’s Top Workplaces. We are seeking a Senior Construction Superintendent to work in Central Florida.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force including laborers/craft workers.
• Inspect Contractor or (Sub)Contract operations to ensure compliance with contract.
• Review and approve sub/trade contractor payment applications with the Project Manager
• Maintain good relationships with internal and external clients, including the Architects, Engineers, and Owner/Client representatives.
• Develop and maintain site logistics plan, in coordination with Project Manager.
• Conduct quality inspections.
• Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts.
• Monitor costs, including labor time and material.
• Work with the in-house Safety team to communicate and enforce Safety and Health Management Program to maintain our excellent safety standards.
• Manage schedules, including preparation of detailed short-term schedules, and ensure all activities take place on or ahead of scheduled dates.
• Prepare and submit Superintendent’s Reports.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 5+ years of industry experience
• You have experience managing $50M - $100M+ commercial construction projects.
• Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products.
• Junior College or Vocational education preferred.
• OSHA certification.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Knowledge of Prolog.
• Broad understanding of industry.
• Familiarity with requirements of drawings and specifications and with terms and conditions of Project Contracts, Subcontracts and Purchase Orders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good math/accounting skills.
• Strong management and leadership skills.
• Strong ability to read drawings and specifications.
