Job summary

McKee Utility Contractors is hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager for an onsite Edmond/Arcadia, OK project. You will oversee budget, schedule, procurement, subcontractors, and safety, from award through closeout, coordinating with Operations and project teams.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering or related degree and 4–7 years of water/wastewater project-management experience, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Four to seven years of construction project-management experience within water and wastewater industry, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project’s budget, schedule, scope, and overall financial performance.
• Track WIP projections, project costs, commitments, billings, and forecasts to completion.
• Coordinate field execution with Operations and project leadership.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Process and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, procurement logs, and other documentation.
• Review and analyze critical shop drawings for accuracy and contract compliance.
• Review as-built docs for contract compliance.
• Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors; ensure contract execution.
• Manage subcontractor activities, performance, scheduling, and coordination.
• Oversee procurement, material deliveries, and vendor commitments.
• Maintain relationships with owners, clients, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and leadership.
• Monitor expenses and identify cost/schedule/operational concerns.
• Forecast workforce needs; coordinate labor and equipment with Operations.
• Prepare status, cost, change-order, RFI, submittal, and procurement logs.
• Ensure safety, quality standards, and contract requirements.
