Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Construction Project Manager in California to support EPC/PM efforts from pre-construction through warranty. You will lead safety, quality, scheduling, cost control, contracts, and field teams on multi-project initiatives.

Responsibilities include client interfacing, risk reviews, RFP/bid processes, and documenting turnover while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Construction, CM, Engineering or related field.
• 7 years of relevant project management experience in construction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure successful execution of projects.
• Contribute to project planning, scheduling, estimating, and cost development.
• Develop and manage client relationships for proposals and projects.
• Negotiate contracts, change orders, and subcontracts.
• Implement safety, quality, and procurement plans on site.
• Review reports on budgeting, cash flow, and project status.
