Job summary

Ryan Homes, a brand of NVR, is seeking a Construction Project Manager Trainee in Akron, OH to oversee the home-building process within a structured training program. You will work alongside a current Project Manager to gain hands-on experience and master the skills needed to effectively manage a job site.

Experience in construction or customer relations is a plus; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and strong time management, organization, and communication abilities are expected to help you

Responsibilities

• Participate in training program with classroom and on-the-job experience to transition into the Construction Project Manager role.
• Positively impact customer experience with the Ryan Homes Community Team.
• Ensure homes are completed within budgets, timelines, and project scope.
• Supervise and schedule sub-contractors, maintaining positive working relationships.
• Manage community assets, perform quality control inspections, order materials, and manage customer relations.

• Positively impact the customer experience while working directly with the Ryan Homes Community Team
• Ensure all homes are completed within established budgets, timelines, and project scope
• Supervise and schedule sub‑contractors, while maintaining positive working relationships
• Manage community assets, conduct quality control inspections, order building materials, and effectively manage customer relations.

Qualified applicants have:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferred
• Proficient time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships
• Demonstrated leadership abilities
• Current Driver’s License
• Construction and/or customer relations experience is a plus

This position pays $65,000 - $70,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by factors including the candidate’s job‑related skills, experience, relevant education, and location.
