The Construction Project Manager - Residential Pools is responsible for overseeing pool construction from start to finish, ensuring a smooth process for customers, team members, and subcontractors. In this role, the Pool Project Manager must be able to plan appropriately, communicate effectively, and delegate efficiently to meet timelines and budgets for each project. This is a full-time position and may include occasional weekend work based on project timelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project Coordination:
- Plan and keep track of project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Work with clients, designers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.
- Oversee all aspects of pool construction, including digging, plumbing, concrete installation, electrical work, and finishing.
Manage Budgets & Resources:- Track project costs and ensure everything stays within budget.
- Order materials and pool equipment, ensuring timely delivery.
- Ensure availability of the right personnel and equipment when needed.
Lead a Team:- Supervise and guide the project team, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to schedules.
- Address and resolve issues or delays promptly.
Client Communication:- Provide regular updates to clients and ensure their expectations are met.
- Serve as the main point of contact for questions or concerns.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
Reporting:- Monitor project progress and maintain necessary documentation.
- Handle inspections and obtain approvals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of experience in the construction field required.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field preferred.
Skills:
- Knowledge of pool construction processes (digging, plumbing, electrical, finishing).
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, JobTread).
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Primarily outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work in extreme heat, cold, and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
COMPENSATION:
- Annual Salary: $80,000 - $85,000.
- Commission Plan: 3% on projects with a margin up to 55%, and 5% on projects exceeding 55% margin.
