The Berlin Steel Construction Company is a full service specialty contractor, primarily with structural steel and miscellaneous metals. We design, fabricate, and erect structures in the Northeast and in other parts of the country. We have 2 fabrication facilities, 4 erection operations facilities, and 6 office locations that provide engineering and management of projects. We are a 100% employee-owned company (ESOP) with a desire for growth. We service the private commercial, public, institutional, and industrial markets.

About the role

  • We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Project Manager to join our team at our West Chester, PA location.

What you'll do

The person who fills this position will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing customer contracts to ensure proper scope and terms
  • Managing and monitoring costs for work while maintaining or improving target margins
  • Preparation of change orders/invoices/Purchase Orders
  • Management of projects from start to finish

Qualifications

  • Applicants should have a minimum of five to seven years of experience working as a Construction Project Manager, with experience managing miscellaneous metals or structural steel preferred. Degree in construction management preferred. Applicants must be proficient with reading of shop and erection drawings. Must have excellent communication skills, the ability to work with internal and external customers, and strong computer skills.
