Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking a Project Manager to oversee planning, management and execution of construction projects, ensuring safety, quality and owner satisfaction. You will lead the project team, develop PMP, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with subcontractors and customers.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management and several years of project management experience in commercial construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• Minimum of four or more years project management experience within Data Center Construction.
• Has a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Has in-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes.
• Understands estimating concepts to verify bids and process change orders.
• Understands contractual language and how to protect the company while delivering quality service.

Responsibilities

• Champions 'The Layton Way' by delivering predictable outcomes for internal and external teams.
• Ensures safety, quality, and integrity in all work performed.
• Assists in preparation of estimates and prepares project budgets.
• Leads the project team in developing the Project Management Plan (PMP).
• Negotiates subcontracts and coordinates permits and regulatory requirements.
• Develops project schedules, milestones, and manages procurement within budget.
• Monitors cost, schedule, safety, and quality performance with the superintendent.
• Prepares client pay requests and follows up on collections.
• Coordinates close-out procedures including as-builts and final reports.
