Qualifications

• Five+ years in construction or related field.
• Knowledge of materials, methods and tools used in construction/repair of structures.
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
• Experience with concrete flatwork layout, forming, pouring and finishing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan procedures based on specifications, schedules and staffing requirements.
• Assemble project staff at start of project.
• Procure tools and materials to meet work schedules.
• Collaborate with supervisory, engineering and supplier teams to solve construction problems.
• Direct supervisors and subcontractors to coordinate work phases and avoid delays.
• Resolve workforce complaints and ensure safety training compliance.
• Inspect progress to verify conformance with specifications and schedules.
• Prepare progress and cost reports and adjust schedules accordingly.
• Oversee major maintenance or reconditioning projects when needed.
