Job summary

Superior is looking for a Project Manager to drive electrical construction projects forward in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and collaborate closely with the Superintendent and Foremen to ensure successful progress and completion of the project.

The position requires at least 4 years of PM experience in commercial construction and a bachelor’s degree or construction management certification. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 4 years of project operations/project management experience in commercial construction or equivalent field ops management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Systems Management or Construction Management certificate are pluses.
• Experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $5M to $50M is preferred.
• Proficiency with construction management software and a strong safety mindset (OSHA) is valued.

Responsibilities

• Mitigate and manage project risk and elevate concerns quickly to leadership.
• Create and manage the full project schedule from kickoff to closeout.
• Manage all project finance requirements including billings, cost control, and change orders.
• Build client trust through clear communication, collaboration, and problem solving.
• Lead project meetings with customers and drive progress updates.
• Coordinate across departments to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Provide clear leadership and guidance to the project team.
• Review project documents and contracts to ensure compliance.
